I guess these are limestone deposits they trickle down with rainwater or water and make such interesting formations. There are similar such formations at Syntheri rocks in Karnataka.

Indians dont seem to make a deal about these, though there are few at Mt Shasta,CA though fairly big in size, and those guys are super excited about these caverns.

Btw you have a good eye for capturing these things. Cheers.
